The House · Est. MMXXVI
A field study
of the object.
SCORVYN.™ is a monochrome fashion house that treats a garment as a documented object, not a product to be pushed.
We began where a wardrobe begins — with the tee — and work outward to the coat. Every object carries its edition and its year, printed plainly, because a thing made at a particular moment should say so.
The name holds corvid: the most watchful bird, whose black is the only black in nature that isn't flat. That is the house — quiet, exact, and holding a colour you only catch in motion.
Four principles
Documented, not merchandised
Each object is catalogued, dated and numbered before it is offered. The record is the truth of the thing.
Monochrome, but for one note
Ink, bone, and the grey between. Colour appears once — a powder note — and only to be broken up.
Retired, not restocked
When a count is exhausted the object is retired. What you acquire is specific, from a specific reading.
Weight over noise
240-gram cotton, pressed wool. Fewer pieces, made properly, meant to soften into yours.
Say less, and what you say is heard.
